WHY PLANNING IS SO IMPORTANT; PROVEN THEORY; THIS WORKS

Hey what's up? I'm back! I know it has been two years, but I have been super busy climbing the stepping stones that I have laid out for myself. Where did these stepping stones come from? They have come from me planning. All this planning helped me find many opportunities that without planning would have gone unnoticed. So yeah you're right. If I didn't plan I wouldn't be in such an amazing position to be starting a successful business. How exactly is that?
SUNRUN
Well, I started planning for financial freedom before my freshman year of high school. I thought it was ridiculous that I couldn't get a job until I was 16 years old. However, I quickly found a way to work around the system. What I discovered was that the only way around this age restriction was to start a business and/or invest the little money I had into the stock market. This is when my interest in starting a business began to form as well as my interests in learning the ways of investing. I quickly realized that being a successful business owner is one of the best ways to become financially free. Which means being able to live a satisfying, free, and happy lifestyle. Not only was this true, but I knew with money came power, with power came a bigger voice and I knew this would give me the ability to impact thousands if not millions of lives. I knew in order to get to this point I had a lot of skill development I had to do.

CUTCO
This is when I began to get really serious about my future. I asked myself every day. Jaron what is the next step? What skills did you need to develop in order to increase your odds of running a successful business? It really wasn't that hard to figure out a plan. My plan was to develop business management, investing, communication, sales, marketing, training/coaching/mentoring skills, and have lots of capital so that I could lower the investment risk by not having to acquire any debt to get my business started. The hardest part wasn't coming up with the plan. The most difficult part is staying committed to a 5 year long process.

I'll give you my example in hope that you will use it to take your goals and make a plan that will   help you get to where you want to be. Coming into freshman year I decided that my overall goal was to start my own business. I knew that if I wanted to increase my percent chance of developing a successful start up there were lots of things that I needed to learn. In order to organize my plan I  categorized the skills that I knew I needed to learn as "stepping stones". I then had laser focus on developing these skills in order for me to have "climbed that stepping stone". As an investor in training I knew that one of Warren Buffett's basic principles was to invest into companies that had great leaders. So before I invested any money into myself I wanted to be confident that I met the criteria for being a successful leader. I had to be certain that I would continuously grow my business year after year. Which in return I knew would grow my personal capital investment. And classify myself as more of a safe and secure investment.  I looked for every opportunity I could to prove to myself that I had what it took to be a "great leader" by Warren Buffets standards. This is when the investing stepping stone training had begun thanks to Warren Buffett's trainings on youtube. The intelligent investor book and other countless online training programs).

CUTCO
First, I did the only thing I could at the time and that was to start a business. But that business had to be a service because I didn't have any capital. This business was dog sitting. I knew this wasn't going to be my first and last business this was just a warm-up and I used this as a way to raise capital something I knew I needed for my future business. I still have dog sitting jobs in my neighborhood to this day. More than four years later. I have made somewhere over 2K just from this little start up alone. Freshman year I tapped into investing in the stock market and developing my dog sitting business. In October 2014, my sophomore year of high school I turned 16 and I knew the next step was to get a job so that I could begin getting some soft skills. I started exploring by getting hired at subway. After a month there I knew I could find a job that offered more learning and growth experience. So, I left and found a job in the warehouse of Ashley Furniture Homestore. After six months I was recruited into the back office after many customers had reported back to my managers that I took good care of them, and they recommended to my managers to put me somewhere that people could see me all the time. Like behind the counter in the back office. Here in the office I learned a lot about the brains of a business ("business management"). It taught me how to deal with emotional customers. I learned a lot about scanning, filing, indexing, financing, sales, running reports and lots of communication skills were developed. I did this for a year. This was a very successful stepping stone. This was the customer service stepping stone.

I knew the next step to owning a business was to learn how to sell a product, service, and myself. I knew this would help me sell my product for my business as well as help me present my business idea to investors. Sales skills were a must! When I turned 18, I seeked out the hardest sales job. This happened to be door to door solar energy sales consulting. I quickly rose to the top of the office in sales for the two first months on the job. Everyday I drove 50mins away to get to my territory and I would listen to audiobooks there and back I did this everyday for the next 6 months. I listened to 4 different audiobooks about sales. I had so much driving time in the car that I was able to listen to each book at least twice and some even three times. I was determined to turn my car into a university on wheels. In this 6 months I mentored ("mentoring skills") my friend and he set up appointments and I would come to close the deals. After 6 months of selling solar energy. I wanted to try selling a product instead of a service. I also knew I would have even better success now with my new sales knowledge and customer service skills. I figured I would do really well at what ever sales job I took next. I couldn't have been more right.
COMPANY LOGO

At my second sales job I started around April 2017 and I sold high end cutlery, cookware, and kitchenware gadgets. I rose to the top of my office immediately the first week I sold $8,000 worth of the CUTCO product. Within two weeks they asked me to become an assistant manager ("business management"). Within 3 months I sold more than $30,000's of the CUTCO product ("sales"). Every week I was recognized with a big check and countless of other awards. I was recognized many times as a push week champion. And at one point was awarded best assistant manager in the region. The company bought me two suits, a nice tie, dress shirt, and some nice business shoes. Along with giving me more than $2,000 worth of free high-end cutlery. I was asked to prepare a talk on how to sell bigger sets for the divisional meeting where I spoke to more than two hundred people or around 7 different offices. I was assigned 5 new traniees every week to mentor them up and keep them motivated ("training/coaching/mentoring skills").

The success I had in my last sales job was the tipping point. I knew after this I was ready. As an investor, I proved to myself that I was worthy of investing my money into Jaron Lodge's business. I knew I was going to be a successful business owner from that point. I also now have the capital I need to start a business ("capital"). With all the capital I raised I knew it could grow fast too.

A GAME CHANGER!!!;NEW CONTENT;SPORTS BLOG!

Monday, February 1st, 2016

What I am about to explain to you can help you become a smarter/better sports player. I will also be sharing an all around important factor involved in being successful in life!$$$

Serena Williams No 1 Women's Tennis Player in the World
Throughout the many years I have been playing all different kinds of sports such as Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Swimming, Gymnastics, Golf and now Tennis I have finally reached a couple realizations, something that I have been pondering back and forth through out my head for a long time now. With the hopes that one day it would make me a better sports player.

I've always wondered how Tennis players that are ranked number one in the world lose to people that are ranked number 20 in the world. Or how I manage to lose tennis matches to people that I know I can easily destroy in tennis, but yet I basically let them beat me. Or the other way around. Where I beat someone I know who has been playing tennis for a lot longer than me but I still end up beating them, because they are having a "Bad Game".

After me having "Bad Games" more frequently I began to ask my self what can I do to keep me from playing under my potential because I know I can play much better than I'm playing right now! After this losing streak that I was on during last year's Tennis Season at Chaparral High School I began to think of ways to improve my confidence and mindset so that every game I play, I play to my full potential! I knew it all narrowed down to my mindset and how I was thinking about things. Most of the time people aren't aware of the negativity they are presenting them selves with until it starts to effect something they are working on in life.

When you spend hours and hours and day after day playing a sport such as Tennis you are surly increasing that percentage that we talked about in my blog two days ago, and the more it increases will reflect how good of a Tennis player you are. With that said, I've started to wonder about the phrase "Practice Makes Perfect" and what it truly means. It's obvious that the more you work at something the more successful you will be at what ever you have been working at. But why is that??? Is it because you are getting physically stronger and your increasing your endurance from running more??? Or is because you are adapting your mindset to the game. Is muscle memory increasing your skill level or could it also be the fact that the more you do something the more confident you become with performing that task?! I BELIEVE that the outcome of any sports game is more than 50% determined by the mentality of the player or players!

**REMEMBER, This can relate to any skills your are trying to improve within your life!

**Almost everything in life is mental! When it comes down to success in the real world physical body strength means nearly nothing!

**We have evolved into a society where physical strength isn't as necessary to thrive and survive in the real world.

**The human race have now evolved into a society where the most successful human will be the one that has the STRONGEST most STABLE and HAPPY mindset! :$

WORKING WITH CROCODILES!!!; EAGLE SCOUT

Sunday, January 31st, 2016 *Morning 10:07am-12:56pm

I am very proud to say that I am an Eagle Scout. After 6 years of working my way up through the ranks on December 11th 2014 I received the Eagle Scout Rank. One of my biggest, if not the biggest accomplishment in my lifetime. And within that accomplishment I had accomplished the biggest Project of my life so far.

For those of you that don't know the Boy Scouts ranks they go Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star Scout, Life Scout, and then Eagle Scout. Within each rank it usually takes about a year to achieve because of the various requirements you have to complete. I have learned so much from Boy Scouts and I have had so many great experience that I will never forget! And with that said It makes me want to share all of these wonderful experiences with you!

I thought of the great idea to create a blogging series about my experiences within Boy scouts, I've gone on so many amazing trips. Trips like White Water Rafting, Real Outdoor Rock Climbing, Canyoneering, I've Hiked the Grand Canyon 3 times, Repelling off cliffs and water falls, War boat Canoeing, Jet Skiing, Wake Boarding, Snow Boarding, Snow Skiing the list goes on.

Anyways, one of the many things you have to do to become an Eagle Scout is to complete a project for an organization within your community. This project took me almost two years to complete. I was working on a project for the Herpetological Society its a sanctuary for exotic animals. The Herpetological Society at this time had just taken in some new baby crocodiles and my goal was to build two large tarps over the crocodiles in order to keep them shaded from the Hot Arizona Heat! As well as organize their misting system over head the crocodiles.

There are many steps that go into such a project especially when you have to write all kinds of reports as additional requirements. I have a box full of all of my Eagle Scout work sitting on my bed right here.

The first steps to such a project is to find an example of what you are about to build and take pictures of all of the parts that were involved in creating what ever it might be that you're creating. In this case I got lucky enough to have a tarp already built for me to go off of. So I took pictures of all the parts needed and then I found them online and compared prices to make sure I was getting my parts for competitive prices. So I could stay under my budget of $400. I had got my parts from American Fencing Company and my green tarps came from an online business. This was all some what of a hassle.

Can you guess which one is me?

I wrote out many project plans. I needed about 15 people to help out with the project. 30 people showed up to help out with the project! We had so many people that we had a group of 10 sort out food to feed the Galapagos Turtles and other volunteer work that they could help Dan the Owner out with. And as the project manager I had to give many talks to my troop in order to keep them informed on what they were suppose to be doing. The project went very smoothly and we finished in only 2 hours! :)

**When your Dad and Brother have accomplished something so great, don't be the only one not to ;)

** I couldn't have done it without my mentors, mentors are key when completing large tasks.

**In order to be successful in life you must have mentors!!

HOW TO HAVE A HIGHER % SUCCESS RATE!!

Friday, January 29th, 2016 *Night 9:40pm-11:03pm

Hello again!

Let me explain to you a key way to asses your overall success, to keep you on track and motivated

when striving to achieve any goals as you continue your journey down the road to success, no matter

what roads you may take! THIS THOUGHT PROCESS IS IMPORTANT FOR ANY GOALS YOU

MAY HAVE! Whether your goal is to get better grades, be a better sports player, or start up a small

business.

I bought a book about two weeks back and the title is Small

Business For Dummies. When ever I have some spare time

on my hands I like to read this book to learn more about

starting small business'. I remember reading a line in the

book that said something along the lines of (pun intended) .....

"look at your chances to become successful by a percent rate

that goes from 0 to 100%", There are no guarantees to

success, but the longer you work at something the more you

learn, the more you learn, the more you can achieve the more

you achieve the more you are increasing your percent chance of creating something that will make

you potentially famous and or wealthy!! Especially for a Small Business as you increase your percent

by more and more, it tends to get easier to increase your percentage by more and more. :) That's why

the hardest part to starting a Business is said to be the beginning!

No matter what your goal is today focus on raising your percentile today!!

**In the 21st century success is directly correlated to your mindset! Are you motivated? Are you mentally strong enough where no matter what obstacles or setbacks that may occur you will not stop until your goal has been reached?!?!

EXTREMELY VALUABLE; REMEMBER; HOW TO OBTAIN A HAPPY MINDSET FOREVER!!!!

Sunday, January 24th, 2016

REMEMBER

I officially have acquired a new moral that I hope

to remember and live by the rest of my life!!!

This moral is extremely meaningful to me, and

serves a great purpose for achieving inner

happiness within yourself. This moral I will be

sharing with you today will help you conquer the

rugged path that lies between you and your goal

of achieving great success! So Please Pay

Attention TO EVERYTHING I HAVE TO SAY

TO MAKE THE MOST OUT OF ALL THIS FREE KNOWLEDGE I HAVE TO OFFER!!! My goal

is to help you have a smoother more efficient Journey when you're in search for Financial Freedom as

well as a positive Happy, Healthy, Weathly, and Loving Lifestyle!!!!

Everyone needs morals and or believes in order to keep

themselves calm, stress free and happy through out their entire

lives. For Instance, if you realize that "Everything happens for

a reason". You will be calm no matter what unfortunate events

are thrown your way,  because deep down in your heart you'll

know that out of every unfortunate event that accrues

something great will come from it! If you don't have any morals of believes right now I'm

begging you to set out your heart and soul and find some that you can really understand and relate to.

I suggest you find a couple that you carry on your shoulders for the rest of your life. Whether its a

religious believe, or some kind of law, moral code, or principles!! This is one of the most important
subject

matters so take this to heart.

Yesterday at work I was

pretty lonely because I felt like I was working when all my friends were with their

girlfriends. And then when I wasn't working and I wanted to hang out with my friends they are all

hanging out with their girlfriends.

This sadness lasted about 4 hrs until I went on

my lunch break and I found this quote through a

link from twitter and it said..."No matter how

good or bad you feel, wake up each day

thankful for your life, because someone out

there is fighting for their's." Instantly my

sadness went away as I

slowly started to size up my problems and

compared them to the problems that my friends, co-workers, and family have been going through

right now. It's Important to REMEMBER that no matter  how bad of a day your having, there is

someone out there is always someone out there that is having a day that is far more worse than

yours!!

Thanks for reading I hope I have helped make a difference in your life today :) Please share with your friends and family if you truly believe that this is important for everyone to know!

*** The only time I would ever get a to tattoo, is if it displayed one of my morals or believes!

*** As you breath right now, another person takes their last. So stop complaining, and learn to be thankful for everything and everyone you have around you!!

*** There are people that would love to have your bad days...

*** Never a Failure always a lesson!

*** REMEMBER to be loving today. <3

HOW TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OPPORTUNITIES!!!

Friday, January 22nd, 2016 *Night 10:49pm-12:12am

Right as I got off my lunch break!! I entered Ashley's Furniture Homestore. And the store was still

RAGING with customers! I couldn't make it to the warehouse in time to drop off my drink, wallet,

and keys. Before a customer started YELLING at me trying to get my attention. I walked over to him

with an energy drink in one hand and a Paradise cookie in the other.

He started telling me that he was very

desperate and needed someone to assemble his

King Size Poster Bed. He told me how his wife

was pregnant and since they just moved into a

new home. He needed to have a bed for her to

sleep on that night. He told me he was willing to

pay me a lot of money$$$. He had said, "I'll take good care of you, if you help me out!!".

I told him a might be able to help him out tonight, but I made no promises. We than exchanged phone

numbers. Unfortunately since his bed was a Floor Model I had to unbuild it / take it apart. Then take

all the parts and find a spot for it in the warehouse for it to be ready for him when he came to pick it

up later that night. This day I probably took apart a total of at least 5 Beds!! As well as all the other

running back and forth I had to do for other customers! I finished off that 10hr work shift strong!

With a solid $68 IN TIPS!!

(If you haven't already, check out this blog first before you continue reading. :)

http://www.mystriveforsuccess.com/2016/01/tips-on-how-to-make-lots-of-tips.html )

We stayed in contact through out the day and struck a deal!! He said he was willing to pay me $160

to assemble his bed! Right before I got let off work at 9:00pm the customer who purchased the bed

came to pick it up. I planned on following him to his house so I would know where to go.

Right when we got to his house we unloaded his truck and hauled all the massive pieces inside into

his master bedroom. I got to work right away finishing the bed in about an hour and a half. Him and

his wife were so exited about their New house and New bed!!!! They where the nicest people! After I

finished the job they gave me water and showed me the rest of their new house, explaining all of the

new things they were going to add to make it look even more amazing. I loved their backyard!!

My Total Earnings for the day
10hr Shift = ($100)
Tips= ($68)
Assembly Service= ($160)
Total= ($328)

***Opportunities are Random and Rare!!!!

***So when you are given Opportunities be sure to take full advantage of them!

***REMEMBER!! "Success is determined on how well you take advantage of the opportunities that are given to you!!!" :)
